CHIA SEED OIL – CROATIA, ORGANIC
Chia seed oil rich in vital omega fatty acids (omega-3, 6 and 9) is ideal for softening skin that is dry, wrinkled or exposed to the sun. It is an excellent ingredient for treating aging skin and signs of premature aging caused by lifestyle, stress or silent inflammation of the body.
GRAPE SEED OIL – EU, ORGANIC
Grape seed oil is a by-product from the wine and juice industry, making it a sustainable choice. Grape seed oil contains vitamin E, flavonoids and fatty acids vital for the skin. It prevents dryness, regenerates and shields the skin from free radicals, i.e. factors that cause premature aging.
POPPY SEED OIL – PAKISTAN
Poppy seed oil has a velvety, silicone-like texture that brings a wonderful, silky feel to the product. Poppy seed oil contains omega-6- and -9- fatty acids, and vitamin E, treating dry skin, rashes and wrinkles.
LINGONBERRY SEED OIL – FINLAND, WILD GROWN
Lingonberry seed oil contains omega-3- and -6-fatty acids, carotenoids, phytosterols and vitamin E. It is ideal for treating dry skin, rashes and aging skin.
ROSE GERANIUM ESSENTIAL OIL – EGYPT, ORGANIC
Geranium helps balance sebum production and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is also used in the care of ageing skin for its antioxidant properties. Studies have found the scent of geranium to help relieve stress and anxiety. Scent: green, rosy and freshly aromatic.
IMMORTELLE ESSENTIAL OIL – CORSICA, ORGANIC
Immortelle essential oil is particularly used in the care of ageing skin for its skin-regenerating properties. It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, and studies have found it to support the skin’s repair processes. In aromatherapy, immortelle is associated with recovery and grounding. Immortelle is also known as “everlasting”, as the plant can survive for months without water. Scent: warm, herbaceous and honeyed with spicy notes.
BLUE TANSY ESSENTIAL OIL – MOROCCO, ORGANIC
Chamazulene found in Moroccan chamomile, or blue tansy, has a deep indigo-blue colour that gives blue tansy its distinctive hue. Blue tansy is also rich in sabinene; both chamazulene and sabinene have been studied for their anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing properties. In aromatherapy, the scent of blue tansy is used to calm and uplift the mood. Scent: sweet and herbaceous.
GINKGO BILOBA LEAF EXTRACT – FRANCE
Ginkgo biloba contains more than 40 active components that act as antioxidants. Ginkgo biloba extract protects the skin from cell damage caused by free radicals, enhances microcirculation, removes waste products, brightens and moisturizes the skin, soothes inflammation and reduces redness. Ginkgo biloba leaf extract in Yin Your Skin products is obtained through zeodoration, a drying technique that consumes less energy than traditional drying methods such as freezer-drying. Low temperatures ensure that the most delicate active compounds in the plants are preserved. The extract is then titrated in order for the active compounds to be standardized.
HIBISCUS FLOWER ACIDS – FRANCE
Hibiscus flowers naturally contain a variety of AHA acids (citric, malic and tartaric acids), and hibiscus and pyruvic acids, which belong to the family of alpha-keto acids, i.e. AKA acids. The extract stimulates skin cell regeneration, enhances the exfoliation of dead cells from the skin’s surface, improves the elasticity of the stratum corneum, balances the skin’s sebum secretion, smooths fine lines, improves moisture levels and brightens the skin. The hibiscus flower acid extract used in IHME Botanical Wonder Essence is titrated in ketoacids (pyruvic acid) and organic acids sourced from hibiscus flowers to guarantee the potency of the extract.

White mulberry root extract is rich in antioxidants and flavonoids, protecting the skin from free radicals, signs of premature ageing and the side effects of excessive UV radiation. In addition, it evens out skin tone and prevents the formation of pigment spots due to the arbutin it contains, which inhibits the activity of the tyrosinase enzyme involved in melanin formation. Mulberry root extract also effectively soothes irritations and redness caused by environmental stressors. Peony flower extract is rich in flavonoids and tannins that protect the skin from oxidative stress and prevent inflammation. The extract soothes irritated and reddened skin and evens out skin tone. LACTIC ACID
Lactic acid is AHA or alpha hydroxy acid. It has a higher molecular weight than glycolic acid and is not absorbed quite as deeply, so it does not cause irritation as easily. Lactic acid moisturises and brightens the skin effectively and is also found naturally in the skin’s Natural Moisturising Factor, which is created by the keratinization process. At concentrations of 5% or more, lactic acid acts as an exfoliating agent. It is especially good for dull, dehydrated, dry skin and mature skin.
CUCUMBER SEED OIL – POLAND
The high levels of vitamin E in cucumber seed oil prevent the cell damage caused by free radicals. They also prevent the signs of premature ageing on the skin from stress and fatigue and brighten the skin tone. In addition, the phytosterols contained in cucumber seed oil smooth out fine lines and enhance the production of collagen and elastin.
Cucumber seed oil contains plenty of linoleic acid, which soothes inflammation, irritation and impurities, and oleic acid, which prevents skin dryness.

TAMANU OIL – VIETNAM, ORGANIC
Tamanu oil is the highest-ranking member of the oils used on skin. This aromatic-smelling, cold-pressed oil has antibacterial, antiseptic, antifungal and antiviral effects. It soothes inflammation, irritation and impurities. Tamanu oil enhances skin regeneration and, because of this, is well-suited to treating scars and skin damage. In addition, it protects the skin from free radicals, thus preventing the premature signs of ageing caused by stress and fatigue. Tamanu oil contains generous quantities of alpha-linolenic acid, linoleic acid and oleic acid, all of which soothe inflammation, strengthen the skin’s protective barrier and prevent skin dryness.
Tamanu oil is suitable for use on all skin types to maintain vitality. It is also particularly good for acne, rosacea, atopy and psoriasis, and for the treatment of pigment spots and scars.
GREEN CLAY – ITALY
Green clay obtained from the sea deeply cleanses the skin, absorbs excess sebum and invigorates microcirculation, helping to cleanse the skin of impurities and dirt, such as air pollution. Green clay tightens sagging skin, reduces the visibility of skin pores, removes swelling and soothes inflammation, impurities and rashes. Green clay contains magnesium, silica and calcium, which together calm the silent inflammation and irritation caused by stress and fatigue, as well as toning and balancing the skin.
CARDAMON ESSENTIAL OIL – INDIA, ORGANIC
Cardamom essential oil has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. In aromatherapy, the warm scent of cardamom is used to refresh and clear the mind and promote a sense of energy. Scent: warm, spicy and freshly aromatic.
LEMONGRASS ESSENTIAL OIL – SRI LANKA, ORGANIC
