Hibiscus flower acids are the star active in IHME Botanical Wonder Essence. What makes it so special?

Hibiscus flower acids stimulate the cell renewal, desquamation of dead skin cells, increase the moisturization and stimulate the collagen production. They are highly effective but tolarated better than well-known AHA-acid glycolic acid.

Hibiscus flowers naturally contain a variety of AHA acids (citric, malic and tartaric acids), and hibiscus and pyruvic acids, which belong to the family of alpha-keto acids, i.e. AKA acids.

Extracts are obtained through zeodration, a unique drying technology to get a powder concentrated in active molecules only. This technology consumes less energy than traditional drying methods. Low temperatures ensure that the most delicate active compounds in the plants are preserved.

This highly concentrated dried product obtained from zeodration is called zeodrate. Zeodrates are then titrated in active molecules and solubilized in rapeseed based glycerin.
