The name, Yin Your Skin, reflects our deep love for the transformative powers of yin yoga.

Although lately we have been focusing on artfully formulated cosmetic products, yin yoga will always stand as our primal foundation. Let us tell you why.

Our very first launch in 2019 was Yin Your Skin Signature Experience, an online course that contains yin yoga, meditation and guided gua sha treatments. The course was born intuitively as an experiment, after our founder Katja has discovered the beautifying effects of yin yoga.

At first, in 2017, Yin Your Skin sessions were shared as intimate yin yoga and skincare classes for a handful of participants. As the word got out, we felt the desire to share the sessions with a larger community. We wanted to offer the same experience in the comfort of their homes. Not only because it’s convenient. But also, because the most sustainable self-care habits are the kind of habits that you can practice independently.

As big fans of complete experiences, we wanted our online course to look beautiful, sound beautiful and feel beautiful inside out. We invited in @isleartindustries to create a journey through all seasons of the Nordic nature. Then we invited in @youmaycallmeirene to compose an original soundtrack.

Some said we are crazy to invest such efforts to an online course. We just went back to our yoga mats and kept going.

The course is our bestselling product and will never go out of fashion. It holds you the space for the most transformative yin yoga practice and teaches you the techniques of facial gua sha. It literally “yins” your skin, mood, and spirit.
